A Bar a Day Keeps Restlessness at Bay!
We will be shortly launching a whole new range of healthy Granola (Cereal based) Bars under the TREKK brand. These bars are specially designed to meet a diverse age group's needs. While Children can benefit from not just the good energy that it provides, but also from the fact that these are a great mix of Cereals, Nuts, Fruits and Seeds. Adults can benefit from the fact that these bars are literally free from refined sugar and are a great option to replace your high fat or high sugar go to snack that you munch on every day between meals.

This post is specifically to emphasise the fact that today more than ever there is need to monitor what we eat and when. Children are spending more time in front of the screen than in a playground and adults are spending more time on an office chair rather than climbing up and down a stair.
With machines to ease our burden of work and make life more comfortable, the risk of our bodies not getting enough exercise has increased. We cannot emphasise enough on the need to exercise everyday for at least 30-45 minutes. This is your time and the investment that you are making in yourself. Just like the SIP that you do every month to save for a rainy day, this investment in yourself will ensure that when you grow older you body is there to support you.
But while we know that exercising is of paramount importance, so is following a correct diet and ensuring that you don't binge on stuff that you can avoid. High Fat, High Refined Sugar products have thronged our supermarket shelves and occupied the prime positions to ensure that they are always within your eyesight. While the government has little control over it, they are actively promoting a healthier lifestyle by including stuff such as millets and cereals into our diet to ensure that our basic nutritional needs are met.
This is where you can include a range of healthy raw and dry roasted nuts and seeds, fruits and cereals into your diet. However, for many the constraint is buying all of them and ensuring you consume them before they expire or go rancid. While nothing beats consuming them raw and roasted, a granola bar made from these ingredients would be a greatly convenient substitute. TREKK Granola Bars combine the best of nuts, seeds, fruits and cereals into a not too sweet granola bar that is convenient to carry in your bag or stash in your desk drawer. The best time to consume a granola bar would be when you've not had a filling breakfast or between meals when you feel hungry but not enough for a full meal.
Some of the star ingredients of our bars are Whole Grain Rolled Oats, Chia Seeds, Green Pumpkin Seeds, Quinoa, Almonds, Cashews, Blueberries, Cranberries, Apple Cubes, Dates and Honey. Of course, individually, each bar is loaded with more superfoods and we will elaborate more on them in future posts.
